About Me

Barbara was born on Long Island, New York her Mother was an artist and her Father a Navy Chief Warrant Officer. She moved to Alabama at the age of 7 with her family. Through out school Barbara had numerous interest; art, reading, sewing, dancing, singing, drawing, playing baseball, track, oil painting, bowling and roller skating. She had two career ambitions in life, she wanted to become an artist and she also had a driving desire to study medicine and become a doctor. She married, became a mother to four sons, enjoyed the active life of keeping up with four boys, later studied interior design and began expressing her artistic talents in helping her friends, clients and family create a beautiful home in which to live. Now Barbara is also expressing these same talents in helping her clients to find a home that is uniquely them.

Barbara is happily married to her husband Gerald and they live on a seventeen acre estate where the deer, turkey and wild life roam and play, the Victorian home on the slide show is Barbara’s home and one of her “Creations”. She has two Granddaughters and one Grandson. Barbara and Gerald enjoy spending time with the kids and Grandkids when they are not working. They also enjoy traveling, taking cruises, participating in some of the above activities and enjoying life in general. Barbara has so much fun selling real estate and creating web content for her web sites that this feels just like a hobby to her.
